Prior campaigns focused on food rescue during the COVID-crisis that was unexpected and impacted grocery stores and access to produce. Prior mentoring programming also raised donations for domestic violence victims and college tours. Many academically advanced high school students volunteered to support students academic skill-building especially with advanced math projects but also with supportive conversations during lunch and with food-growing-healthy eating and nature projects.

Family Learning Solutions, Inc. offers seasonal internships to high school, college or graduate students seeking to gain experience working as tutors and mentors for K-12 students within MCPS.
